Terms of service
Effective November 4, 2026. These terms cover the Rightt app and this website. Using either means you agree to them.
1. Who can use Rightt
You must be 18 or older. Your age is self-declared at sign-up and must be truthful. One account per person, created for yourself, with information that is accurate.
2. What Rightt is
Rightt shows you whether people nearby have said a hello is welcome. That's it. There is no chat, no swiping, and no feed; any introduction happens between two people, in person, on their own terms. Rightt is not a party to what happens after the hello.
3. Your card and your content
You own what you put on your card. By showing yourself, you give Rightt permission to display your card to people near you while you are showing, which is the whole point of the app. Your card must be about you: no impersonating others, no photos of someone else, no contact details or solicitation in place of a name.
4. How to behave
- Take statuses at face value. Open means open to a friendly introduction, nothing more. Please don't approach me means exactly that, and it's meant to be respected.
- Take the hint. Anyone can say no at any time, in the app or in person. One polite hello is the product; persistence is not.
- No harassment, stalking, or intimidation. Using Rightt to follow, monitor, or repeatedly approach someone will end your account.
- No commercial use. Rightt is for meeting people, not for promotion, solicitation, or data collection.
5. Safety
Rightt does not vet, screen, or run background checks on anyone. You decide whom to talk to and where, and you are responsible for your own interactions, online and in person. Meet in public, trust your judgment, and use block and report — right from a person's card — if someone makes you uncomfortable.
6. Early access
Rightt is in early access and available in limited places. Features may change, break, or disappear; availability is not guaranteed; and your data may be reset during the test period. We'll be as careful as we can, but you use an early product as it is.
7. Ending an account
You can stop using Rightt at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms — especially section 4 — or that put other people at risk, with or without notice.
8. Disclaimers
Rightt is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, Rightt and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for anything that happens between people who meet through the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Rightt grows; material changes will be announced in the app, and continuing to use Rightt after a change means you accept it. Contact details will be published in the app's App Store listing and in this site's footer as soon as they are live.
